A prominent Palm Springs–area physician engaged Economos DeWolf to market and sell his medical office building in Palm Desert. Located at 73-950 Alessandro Drive, the Desert Aurora Medical Building was constructed in 2001 with first-class medical improvements, including two operating rooms, a six-bed post-anesthesia care unit, multiple treatment rooms, an X-ray suite, surgical scrub sinks, and a sterile utility room. The property also features a public arts display on its grounds.
Economos DeWolf structured and negotiated a leaseback arrangement that allowed the physician to continue operating in the facility while securing a buyer. A local medical group purchased the 12,000-square-foot building for $5 million and plans to occupy a portion of the property in the future.
