When Robert “Bob” Olson, principal of R.D. Olson Development, decided to quietly sell his Irvine headquarters, he turned to Economos DeWolf. The three-story office building at 2955 Main Street had served as the company’s base, but Olson anticipated the need for more space and sought to relocate closer to key clients in Newport Beach, including the Irvine Company.
Economos DeWolf structured a short-term leaseback that allowed R.D. Olson Development to transition smoothly, while procuring a buyer in Greenlaw Partners — a local investor actively expanding its portfolio in Irvine and the broader Airport Area. The property sold for $9.8 million.
After R.D. Olson vacated, Greenlaw repositioned the building. Economos DeWolf later facilitated its resale, achieving a transaction value of more than $11 million.
